Is There a Relation Between Anxiety and Sleep

How do you cope with Stress?

If you are reading this article you probably do. Young or old, rich or poor, it really makes no difference in your situation or way of life. Anxiety and Stress affect most people sometimes every day during their life.

So are Anxiety, and Sleep Disorders related? We know that everyone has there own view on anxiety and that some seem to think it can wake you at night from a deep sleep. It could be that the problem is much deeper than thought.

You do need to know the connection that anxiety and sleeping disorders have so that you can maintain a healthy lifestyle.

There are many people who believe there are strong connections between stress, anxiety and sleep disorders, and that many people suffer from a lack of sleep as the mind tries to put them out of the picture at night.So why does this happen?The good thing is that we all seem to be able to eat and drink on a daily basis without worrying about it.

Is there a reason why the sleep pattern is attacked?When you jump into bed there is believed to be a connection with sleep disorder and anxiety. This may be the only time you can really think about what you really want to think about.

Every day chores and distractions are sorted out by the brain. The night time is a good time to address issues that are causing you concern by thinking what the positives are. Unfortunately we normally just go to bed and stare into space and wait for the worst to happen.

Anxiety and sleep disorder may be connected purely through the negative thoughts that we have that make matters worse.

There is always a possibility that your anxiety may lead towards you feeling helpless and trapped.Your feelings can extend into problems, causing you difficulty when you should be trying to relax before its time to sleep.Because you feel jittery and edgy you have a hard time settling down and the body cannot adjust, which keeps you awake.

The feeling of helplessness is a big part of sleeping disorder and you should try and address this before you begin trying to get to sleep.

Looking at the connection between sleep disorder and anxiety you should always try and hit it head on.If you try and make short term goals and produce a plan you should be able to remove the feeling of helplessness.Your problems will not just go away overnight, but over time you may be able to feel more positive and relaxed.

Short-term goals should be your aim when it comes to alleviating anxiety and sleep disorders as these problems can often seem too big to fix.If you break them down and make them short term targets they are far easier to address.

When you are addressing these problems rather than letting them overwhelm your thoughts, you are far less likely to have them interrupt your sleep on a nightly basis.
